Freedom is a birthright for all humans, we should always feel accepted to speak our minds and be who we are. In his short story, â€Å"The Strangers that Came to Town†, Ambrose Flack is showing that true freedom is about being accepted. He shows this through the characterization of Mrs. Duvitch, Mr. Duvitch and Andy. Mrs. Duvitch’s quiet and reserved nature made her the ideal victim of rumors. The less people knew about her the more room left for their imaginations. For example she is said to be â€Å"the victim of an obscure skin disease and that every morning she shook scales out of the bed sheet† (3). The rumors began to cease after her dinner party with Andy’s family where her true nature began to be revealed. Following the dinner party, Andy’s mother invites her to a tea party â€Å"Where her delicate manners, and the fine needlework which engaged her, won the approval of the local housewives who were present† (15). Showing her embroidery skills helped her connect with the ladies of the town. Embroidery is a way she expresses herself and after feeling comfortable with the ladies she revealed that side of her. When she felt accepted by the ladies, Mrs. Duvitch was finally confident enough to invite them to her house. â€Å"After a while Mrs. Duvitch found courage to ask these people into her house† (16). To myself, I was a failure. After high school, I moved to a new town, new college, It was a new start! Wallace State College In Huntsville was going to be my Journey to success. After a year and a half, I was completing my internship for my desired major and It all fell to pieces. I was miserable. This was not what I thought I was getting myself Into. I could not see myself In that line of work every day for the rest of my working life. So what do you do? Failure struck once again, I quit. I moved back home to Alabama. I had no Idea what I was going to do. I thought college was no longer for me. I had no skills to get a decent Job. Then on August 28th 2006, someone saw different. I was accepted for a Job. After 2 short weeks on the job, I was transferred to a location to be the manager. This became my life for the next 6 years. Everything I did revolved around this store. Although I was not the owner of the store, I treated it like it was mine. In my six years there, the store was very successful. The company went through a buy-out in 2010 to a company based out of Ireland, This caused major downfalls in the Job. The owners no longer appreciated their employees; we were merely Just a number to them. When you have a small town store this makes a major difference. Then the financial aspects sat in, not knowing week to week if you were going to get a paycheck. These occurrences ere landing me right back to where I was 6 years ago. Although gaining experience. I am now majoring in Office Administration at West College and hope to graduate Spring 2014. Just eight more classes to go. As for my future, My goal is to obtain a Job at the collage as a program assistant. This may sound crazy, but it is my dream. I believe in the college and I know that if I can succeed others can too. By using ordering management system, it allows the user to import data and to manage the products that the customer wants such as, product information, buyer’s information, costumer’s prioritization and product costing. PC Troubleshooters runs its business through a manual process in taking the orders of the costumers. Though there are more employees attending to the needs of the costumer, but the company was often confronted with greater volume of orders, this in effect, created a problem that continue to persist a onger period of time. Because of that, chances are the customer might give false information about their order. In rare cases like that, the employee can make mistakes too due to the given information of the customer. Another problem is that when transactions are done manually, the customers can change their mind and cancel their order. This kind of conflict makes the customer take back its money directly without any other process or informing the company of the cancelled transaction. Indeed, managing the orders through manual process becomes a big problem of the companies since it creates a higher risk of committing errors and even makes the employees accountable for their transaction (SaaS). Just like in the case of PC Troubleshooters, manual process of managing the orders consumes a lot of time. If it is not being organized the orders are mixed up. PC Troubleshooters cannot manage the orders properly also when the customer gives wrong information about the order, errors takes place and tracking the error consumes a lot of time. The system adapts to different types of order and to meet the customer’s needs. It will also monitor and manage the orders of the customer in order to check the ordered product accurately. The product must be added before ordering occurs. It can also reduce the risk of overlapping orders and other mistakes done by the customer and by the employee. On the part of the management the system has the capability to show reports of every transaction that are accomplished in everyday transaction. Thus, monitoring the reports and knowing the problems can now be traced easily by the top management level. Objective of the Study General Objective The general objective of the study is to create and develop a web based ordering management for PC troubleshooters. Specific Objectives 1.
